Who is CK Cleaning?


CK Cleaning Specialists is a family owned and operated business that is Christ Centered with years of experience.  For years we built our business based on the referrals of our customers.  We are insured and bonded.  We strive for 100% customer satisfaction every time.  Be sure to check out our testimonials to hear what our clients are saying about us.

What are your service times?


Standard cleaning hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM Monday through Saturday.  We do accept early morning (before 9 AM), evening appointments (after 5 PM) and Sunday appointments by request only.  There is a fee assessed for an after hours appointment.

All of our appointments are scheduled with morning, mid-day or late afternoon start times and are given windows.  For example:  With morning appointments, the cleaning crew will arrive between 9 and 11 AM.  This is done because so often there are occurrences outside of our control.


What should I do before a home cleaning?


Please pick up and put away all clothes, toys and personal items that you want to keep private.  Our staff is not responsible for taking care of these items.  They have been advised to clean the areas of the home that are not impacted by such items.

How do I reschedule my appointment?


We understand things come up and adjustments need to be made.  We will work with you to find a new appointment time.  We do require a 24-hour notice.  You can cancel your appointment by clicking on the “cancel” button found on your confirmation email, by calling the office or sending an email to ckcleaninginc@yahoo.com .  If you choose to cancel your appointment with less than 24 hour notice, a cancellation fee, up to your appointment value will apply.

How do I redeem a Groupon Voucher or other coupon?


You can schedule your appointment 24 business hour after the promotion has closed.  We have set up a specific page on our website where customers can redeem their voucher and request an appointment date.  Please follow the instructions provided on your offer for a smooth redeeming experience.

How do I schedule an appointment?


Appointments can be scheduled online or by phone.  To schedule by phone please call our office at 708-862-5352 and a representative will be happy to assist you.

How do I purchase additional services or additional time for home?


Every home is unique and as such we offer services that you can add on to your appointment to enhance your cleaning experience.  Additional services include, fridge cleaning, oven cleaning, grout cleaning, carpet cleaning and more. Click here for a complete list of “add-on” services.

At the time of requesting your appointment, please notate any additional services you would like to add on to your cleaning.  If you’re not sure at the time of the booking, you can choose to add them on up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.  Simply call the office at 708-862-5352 email to ckcleaninginc@yahoo.com


How do I know how much time is needed for my home?


If you are redeeming a voucher (Groupon), then your cleaning session is based on time.  All appointments are UP TO the stated amount of hours.

There are many factors that determine how long it will take to clean one’s home.  The biggest factors are size of your home (square footage, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, etc.), how often you clean or have your home professionally cleaned, the condition of your home and the amount of personal effects throughout your home.  Here is a general rule of thumb that may help you out.

0 to 1,500 square feet – up to 4 man-hours

1,500 – 2,500 square feet – up to 6 man-hours

2,500 – 4,000 square feet – up to 8 man-hours

4,000 – 6,000 square feet – up to 10 man-hours

6K + – 12 or more man-hours

The cost is $75 dollars for two additional man-hours.


Can I combine vouchers and or coupons?


Unfortunately only one voucher or coupon can be used per visit.  Offers cannot be combined.  If you’d like to be considered for an exception, please contact our office.  The representative assisting you does not have the authority to grant this request.  So a member of management will get back to you within 24-hours if they are not available at that the time of your request

Can I use my voucher or coupon for partial cleanings?


You can pick and choose the areas of your home that you want cleaned as long as they fall within the scope of the offer.  Your appointment can not however be split into multiple cleaning sessions.

Am I responsible for cleaning supplies?


You can provide supplies or choose to use ours.

We recommend you have your own broom, mop, vacuum and cleansing towels for optimum sanitation.  If you do not have these items, please let us know at the time of booking your appointment and we will make sure our cleaning staff is prepared for a nominal fee.

We do offer professional grade cleansing supplies.  Our supplies are C.K. safe to the environment as they contain less chemicals but are just as effective as the common products most cleaning companies use,.  Our industrial strength supplies are designed to cut through grease, grime and dirt better and faster than common household products.  They can be purchased for a nominal fee.

What if the cleaner misses a spot?


Our staff is professionally trained and we aim for the best cleaning experience possible.  Cleaning is very subjective and as such we want make sure we meet your standard of clean within the scope of the cleaning service you’ve purchased.  With any new relationship it takes a while to learn each other and as such mistakes happen. If we missed a spot, please notify us within 24-hours and we’d be happy to send our staff to re-do the area in question at no cost to you.

Can I receive an appointment on a holiday?

What communities do you service?


We actively service Cook, Dupage, Lake and Will Counties.  We also service some areas of Kane County and Indiana.  Check out our specific service map to see if your area is included.

What do I do if I have a pet?


We love pets and yes we know your pet is innocent and wouldn’t hurt a fly, but for the safety of your pet and our cleaners, all pets must be put in a safe place outside of the cleaning area while the cleaning crew is present.

If you’re unable to place your pet in a cage/kennel, please let us know and we’d be happy to reschedule the appointment for a time when you’re home.
